Buyer’s Guides

Key points to check before you buy. Want help applying them to your rooms? Request a buying consultation.

  • Interactive displays
Match screen size to the farthest seat, confirm the display works with the laptops and software faculty already use, and compare warranty length and on-site service, not just price.
  • Flexible furniture
Choose furniture that one person can move quickly, check durability ratings and warranty, and plan power and floor space for the layouts you will actually use.
  • Hybrid classroom AV
Remote students need to hear every voice, so plan microphones first. Then add a camera that follows the instructor and a simple control panel faculty can use without help.
  • Lecture capture
Decide whether you need recording, live streaming, or both. Confirm it connects to your learning management system and that captions can be added automatically.

Funding & Grants

Many upgrades can be paid for, in part, with outside funding or with savings found in an institutional assessment. Common sources include:

  • U.S. Department of Education institutional development programs, such as Title III and Title V grants for eligible institutions
  • State capital and workforce development funds
  • Private foundations and corporate partners focused on education and technology
  • Savings redirected from your own operating budget

Program availability and eligibility change often, so we confirm current opportunities with you before you apply.

Savings & ROI Calculator

Get a rough sense of what an institutional assessment could uncover. Enter your own figures; all assumptions are shown.

Operational efficiency, assumed 1% to 3% of operating budget
Software and license consolidation, assumed 10% to 20% of software spending
Procurement and contract savings, assumed 3% to 8% of purchasing
Illustrative annual savings range

These percentages are illustrative planning assumptions, not a promise of results. An institutional assessment produces actual figures based on your data.

FAQs

Do you only advise, or do you also sell equipment and furniture?

Both. We can advise only, or we can supply, install, and support the equipment, furniture, and software we recommend. Many clients start with advice and then ask us to deliver the plan.

Are you tied to one brand?

No. We work with many manufacturers and software companies, so our recommendations are based on what fits your rooms, people, and budget.

How long does an institutional assessment take?

It depends on scope. A single department or office can be reviewed in a few weeks. A whole-institution assessment usually takes a few months. We agree on the timeline before we start.

Can you work within our purchasing rules?

Yes. We follow your institution’s procurement policies and can help you use cooperative purchasing contracts where they apply.

Do you install and train?

Yes. We manage installation from delivery to go-live, and every installation includes hands-on training for faculty and staff.

Do you work with K-12 schools?

Yes. While much of our work is with colleges and universities, we also serve K-12 schools and districts, training centers, government agencies, and nonprofits.

What does the first consultation cost?

The first consultation is free. We listen to your goals and challenges and suggest practical next steps, with no obligation.

How do you price your services?

Assessments and consulting are quoted as fixed-fee projects based on scope. Equipment, furniture, and software are quoted item by item, so you see every cost before you decide.
